The project was conducted by the Center for Social Sciences with the financial support of Open Society Georgia Foundation in 2015-2016. 

The project was conducted in three state (Tbilisi State University, Ilia State University, Technical University of Georgia) and three private universities (Free University, International Black Sea University, Georgia Institute of Public Affairs) in Tbilisi and aimed at evaluating the state of affairs in the Georgian universities 10 years after joining the Bologna Process; how the implementation of the Bologna reforms facilitated the development of teaching and research in Georgia; and in general, whether or not Georgia was able to keep in step with other countries participating in the Bologna in implementing educational reforms and establishing the European Higher Education Area.
