Short Description:The book presents intensive practical course which is mainly concentrated on political institutions. The first part of this course is dedicated to analysis on the essence of institutions in general, how they are created and how they operate; what impact they have on the economic and political activities. In the second part of the book we can find the analysis of the institutions. The question of legitimacy of political institutions, political parties, state and its institutionalization, state and constitutional order are discussed in the book. The final part of the book is devoted to the institutional changes in the era of fundamental social transformation; especially it is concentrated on post-communist reality. The subject of special analysis is institutional development of post-soviet Georgia.
