Mariam Amashukeli is a Ph.D. student of Culture and Media Sociology at the Tbilisi State University. Since 2012 Ms. Amashukeli is an affiliated researcher at the Center for Social Sciences (CSS). Since 2012  she has participated in more than twelve research projects funded by the international and local donor organizations and is the author/co-author of up to ten publications. Currently, her research interest is mostly focused on higher education studies (tertiary education and labor market, modern human capital development, knowledge economy, knowledge-based society).  Over the years she has also worked on the topics related to gender studies, Europeanization and extremism.
