Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow
Bio: Natalia Zakharchenko is an ETN-Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow, employed by Center for Social Sciences (Tbilisi, Georgia) and pursuing her PhD trajectory at Tallinn University of Technology. She graduated with MA in political science from the OSCE Academy in Bishkek and LL.M in international law from Vrije University in Amsterdam. Natalia worked in various research and consultancy positions at such organizations as UNDP, UN Peacebuilding Fund, Norwegian Helsinki Committee, Norwegian Institute of International Affairs, and George Washington University. She is curious about policy-related research agenda in South Caucasus and Central Asia, including digitalization of governance, informalities, gender politics and education.
She can usually be found reading a book, and that book will most likely be science fiction. Sharing unconditional love for Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia as a whole, she prefers to think of herself as a global citizen in the best tradition of “Imagine”.
